Keyless Entry - 94 - Horn doesn't honk on lock?

Did 94 Camaro's horns honk when they lock? I programed my Key Fob I bought on ebay and it doesn't honk when it locks. It's kinda a bummer because sometimes I can't tell if the locks went so I'm not sure if it locked. Is there any way I can make it honk/flash the flashers or something?

From the factory a '94 won't honk. My 97 honks twice to signify that the factory alarm has set.

Is there anyway I can program it to honk or flash the signals so I know its locked? Maybe buy a 97 Lock Acuater? I think that'd mean I'd need a new Key FOB (a 97) as well?

I know with an aftermarket alarm you can. Usually if you stand close to the car you can hear it lock itself, and the inside light should come on for a second. At least my '94 did.

yup, but sometimes i can't hear it lock and I can only see the inside dome light when its dark outside (like after 6pm) even with my ~15-20% tint.

You will need to go with something aftermarket if you want honk and light flash. Those things did not come on f-body cars until 1996. You can't just throw the 1996 parts on there, because there is no wiring to support them.

IIRC there's a BCM module that started in 1996, and it contained the factory alarm and honking gismo, it also allowed the inside lights to slowly dim instead of just going out all of a sudden.
