Key wont turn!!!

Angry Key wont turn!!!

damn ket wont turn in the ignition cylinder. kind of feels like the steering lock is on but the steering wheel isnt locked. anyone have any ideas. is it the steering wheel lock stuck or is the cylinder bad?

Could be the cylinder, the rack that transitions the cylinder movement to the rod that goes to the ignition switch or switch.

Make sure you have it in Park or in Neurtal.

(Yes I accidently moved the shifter into reverse when the car wasent on and couldent figure out why the key wouldent turn)

let me know how this goes... my car had a similar problem for a while. It did that to me in the staging lanes, I panicked, and just punched the key [bending it and all], and then it suddenly worked and hasnt given me any problems since. While i was having the problem though I remember having a 'trick' to it. Like I had to pull on the key away from the column while turning it or something like that.
