K&N FIPK just installed

I just installed my FIPK last night, and I must say I am very impressed. Not only does it seem to have better throttle response, but I can actually hear my engine a lot better while it is climbing in rpms. Usually all I hear are my flowmasters rumbling away, but now I can hear both, and I like it a lot.

Just thought I would spread my happiness

It's Flowmaster, not Flowmasters. You only have one muffler, unless you've added a true dual exhaust.

I noticed my car pulled a lil harder up top after the FIPK install ...

4-5 months down the line I got the SLP CAI .. I like the twin filter design

Yea no sound difference in engine noice - just hearing the air being sucked past the filter was different. Couldn't feel power difference, but I knew it was better than stock so I was happy.

Re: K&N FIPK just installed

My first mod was the SLP CAI. It made that cool sucking noise and the mini spooling noise around 3k rpms. Couldn't feel a big difference until I first had to merge onto the freeway and gave it to her...

...I miss that new mod feeling.

Cleaning/re-installing the filters is a biotch though.
