Ordered my catback for the z28 tonight, 3" hooker with 3" QTP electric cutout. $508 shipped 2nd day air, hopefully it'll be on by wednesday night! I can't wait.

 

Yeah, next payday comes Bilstein HDs and a run on the dyno. After that, and a few other cheaper mods, LTs and ORY, hopefully. My goal is 300rwhp by the time school starts (mid august) I think I'm off to a good start.

 

I've got a CAI on my v6, but it won't work on the LT1 that's one of the cheaper mods I have on the list.

 

Ive got Hooker on my LS1, i love it. Now all i need is some LT's too...

 

That's a good combo... Great tone with the Hooker and when you want it loud the cutout.

The Hooker catback is one of my favorites, what kind of headers do you plan on running?

 

Not really sure, I assume a set of mid-priced long tubes, since that seems to be the crowd favorite. I plan on researching and planning before I purchase, of course. I had the TSP rumbler with a magnaflow hiflow cat on my v6, it was loud, but really had no tone. I was pretty disappointed. Though I didn't give it a chance to break in before I purchased my z28 for $1,500 , so maybe it'll deepen up. I was afraid the hooker would give me the same problem, unable to carry on a conversation with the passenger, let alone people riding (crammed) in the rear seats. But after listening to as many soundclips as I could find, I made my decision on the hooker. I can't wait!
