I left out the plastic sheeting which is supposed to help shield the inside door from moisture i suppose. How critical is this piece? It started to rain and I had to hurry putting my door back together... and I fergot to put the sheet back on Is this piece really all that important?

 

The goofballs at the body shop left mine off years ago. I have not had any problems that I am aware of.
