Hello. The left brake light on my 95Z28 goes out sometimes when I make a turn, and then goes back on when I make another turn. I first thought it was the bulb and changed that, but the problem is still there. I used the search but found nothing. How can I fix this? I would guess that a wire is loose?

 

I've fought with this same issue on and off\sorry for the bad pun..
for a while.
I have replaced the under pedal switch, re-grounded, inspected wiring, replaced sockets and I STILL sometimes am told I have a brake light out but when I go to inspect and troubleshoot everything seems to function fine which makes troubleshooting near impossible.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try the brake light switch. My GM Service manuel doesn't list "brake light switch" in the index or includes it with any assemblies, and all I could find with the search feature was this picture from shoebox's site.

Should I just go to the dealer to get a new one, and they would know the part I'm talking about? And install should be straight forward? I could'nt find a PN or anything like that...
