Cooling fans restricting air flow 45 MPH and up !!!!
Ok I had my PCM tuned my ION@MADZ28 . Well i chose to have the cooling fans come on at a lower temp than stock . Well this is my problem ....
The car runs cool and just fine in town driving (anything
40 mph or below) . When the car is moving 41 MPH and
up while the cooling fans are still on they (cooling
fans) become a restriction to airflow causing the
car to heat up more than usual . My Cooling fans are
staying on at 41 mph and above because the PCM sees
the coolant temp not dropping (caused by the fans
on at highway speeds) . I need the fans to turn off
while at highway speeds so the car doesnt heat up .
Am I explaing myself correctly ? cuz my point is If the
Cooling fans are on high at highway speeds they become
a restriction to airflow getting to the radiator to cool the car down .

Yes because the fans can pull only so many cfm's while on the high
setting . There is more cfm's of air coming into your radiator at highway
speeds than the fans can pull through . so the air doesnt get pulled through
the radiator cuz the fans are acting like a wall keeping fresh air from getting through .

Here is the piece thats missing from the first pics i posted . This plastic
shroud encloses the radiator from the engine bay . I removed it and didnt put it back in thats why you can see the trans cooler and radiator when the hood is popped .
