intermediat starting probelms
First yes I did do a search and abostly nothing relivate came up. So anyways heres what happeneing on my 94 3.4 V6 camaro. When I go to start my car after I trun the key nothing happens I can only hear the starter cylinoid clicking if I do it a few times it will eventualy start. At first I though ok starting is going out, stock one with over 150K+ miles. So today I go to replace it, shimed properly and doesn't make any unusual noises when it finnaly does enguage, and it still does the same thing. I pretty sure its not a faulty starter but havn't totaly ruled that out yet. Next I took a mutimeter and hooked up to the cylinoide to check what kind of voltage I"m getting to the start. It came up to just over 10V, its that normal or should it be higher, I though it should be somewhere around 12V. But if that 10V is normal then I'm going to start leaning towards a faulty ignition switch in the stearing colum. But if that is the case I'm not sure where to hook up the mutimeter on the switch to check. can some one give me some help or if you think its something else point me into another direction. I'm really starting to get pissed and I really don't want to get stranded somewhere because my damn car won't start.
also I do have a starter kill switch on my car and I did check that out as well. Both relays are working fine.

Re: intermediat starting probelms
It does sound like the ignition switch on the column. I believe they are adjustable (or they used to be). Couple of small nuts to loosen and you can pull it back and forth.
