coolant leak... maybe WP or hose...

alright guys, i have coolant leaking from my car. it has 193,000 miles on it, and is a 1994 Z28(A4). i don't have jackstands(yet) so i haven't been able to fit under the car to determine where the leak is coming from, though i suspect it's a waterpump or hose. i want to know how hard it would be to replace a waterpump and if it's something a 16 y/o with virtually no car knowledge(accessory belt-wise) could tackle with instructions? also, would somewhere like advanced auto parts have the stuff? or could i just rebuild it myself?

It is not difficult. It is a little time consuming. As long as you know how to remove hose clamps and hoses and can remember where they were connected, you should be okay. Get a Haynes manual and read up on it. First time doing it, it will probably take you about 2-3 hours.

does it require moving other crap to get to the waterpump? like stuff in the way i gotta pull out first? i need to get a pressure test done on my car, would i be better off just letting a shop do the job? or do they really charge out the *** for simple stuff like this?
