I was wondering if rear interior panels from a 2000 firebird convertible would fit in my 1994 camaro convertible, considering i am doing the interior over.

Also my 1994 camaro convertible is an automatic but if i try to put it in
1st gear it wont let me because the plate only goes down to 2. I was wondering if the shift panel is just restricting my shifter from going down to first or if it just isn't accessable with an automatic.

 

The shifter can be put into "1" if you cut away the small plastic tab under the plate that is blocking movement of the shift lever.
