installed my catback yesterday

i checked for leaks and there were non. it seems my car got slower but im not too sure yet. is there anything i can do to see if my car got faster or slower? backpressure? or am i just paniking too much? thanks

without having done any kind of baseline test (unless you have 1/4 mi times) before the install...there isn't much you can do

i found that it is alot psychological, since the car is louder, you feel like you are going faster than you are. you're brain is use to a certain noise level.

and realize, a caback is worth about 10hp...that's not much to feel specially if you don't have many other mods

There is of the course the possibility that you lost or didnt gain any low end torque due to the decrease in back pressure, but it is probably pyscologial. I have always felt the same way when I install Catbacks on my cars, too.
