Installation of Skip Shift Eliminator

OK, I have a $50 gift cert. for SLP, and was going to order the Skip Shift Eliminator.

Would I be able to install this myself, or should I have it installed by my dealer? I'm a little concerned about having the dealer do it as SLP says "not for use on emissions contolled vehicles"?

I have a really good relationship with the service dept. at the dealership and they know the car well, so I thought of having them install it next time I'm in for service.

Thanks

Step 1: go to your car and dig around under the seats for spare change.

Step 2: Take that change to radio shack and buy a 5 pack of 2.2 K ohm 1/2 watt Resistors for a buck

Step:3 Install the resister

There is zero need to buy the kit and it's probably the easiest mod you could do. All you need to do is get under the car. Locate the selinoid on the drivers side of the tranny. Shape the resister like a U and place it in the connector of the wireing harnnes. Tape it up and your done.
