Does anyone have directions on how to install an autometer tac on a 4th gen camaro? (1996)

 

From the tach-

green - to the white wire coming from the stock coil,gives u RPM's

white - power for illumination (backlight) when the headlights/parking lights are on

black - ground

red - switched 12V power (power only when key is on)

 

Thanks. Any suggestions on how to get the dash apart? I was going to mount it in the center next to the AC vent?

 

im not a big 4th gen guy,but i THINK its only held in place by clips,and u just pull it out (im guessing ur talkin about the dash pad).
