They cost about 130k dollars from berger/gmmg
They came in 3 stages.
380 hp
405hp(ls6)
600hp (underated more like 700)

do a search...this topic has come up alot and each time the facts seem to change but here is what i know

69 zl1 camaro's were made all in 2002 by berger gmmg
stage 3 camaros cost the most and they had the 427 c5r motor.

Re: info on ZL1 camaros

If i rember correctly the 3 stages were 400hp (LS6), 475hp (h/c package), and the 600hp C5-R engine. Check out www.gmmginc.net for a little more info on these and other cars.

Re: info on ZL1 camaros

I'm almost positive they came with the same rearend as the 2002 Camaros. but they did come with 4.10 gears. I'll do some digging and see if I can find some more info. GMHTP has done about 3 or 4 great articles on these cars and CHP has done a couple, so if you can get your hands on that it would help.

Re: info on ZL1 camaros

well apparently there were different stages. And i think they list them on that site.

It says 600 because thats what it was rated at but it much closer to 700 range i beleive or so i've heard. I guess kind of like when the when gm rated the same LS1 motor in the vettes lower in the camaro.

From what i have read they do 10's on street tires and breaks into the 9's with slicks.

Re: info on ZL1 camaros

http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/cars/camarozl1.html This is the Prototype that Jon Moss did for SEMA and a couple other shows. It is a 2000 Camaro and only 1 was made. It is alot different than the ones GMMG made. Here is another site, I'll try and dig up some more http://www.cars.com/carsapp/national...camarozl1.tmpl
