Important ? on Power Seat and Placement. Please help.
So car gets dented, car goes to body shop, car is repaired... I think I'm happy with the workmanship, here the problem comes in.
Being 6'8" I'm sure the little korean guy and his staff adjusted my seat probably several times. I go to move the power seat back and nothing happens. I give it a shove. Back it goes, I push the button forward it crawls forward as usual. Back, nothing happens. So I'm like motor went out whatever, push the seat all the way back drive home.
It becomes obvious the seat isn't as far back as it used to be, my knees are touching the dash and I can't see my CD player display, the power button is still useless in the back position and no amount of nudging it back will cause anything to happen....
Upon further inspection everything looks normal because I don't remember the drivers seat going back farther than the pass.. but something is clearly wrong? WTF? I can't drive like this.
I can't imagine them taking out my seat and resetting it or anything... Although a couple days before hand I got sideways and in correcting that I heard a clunking sound from my seat? Perhaps it came loose and they corrected it?
Is it possible there is something stuck in there? Can I take the seat out and put it further back on the track? I know I have heard of that being done before... Sigh...
Sorry for the long post, but I thought I would present all the information I could, and this is important and I'm at a loss.
