Unless your clutch is worn or low on fluids. It only needs about a quarter to a half inch of movement to dissengage.

I'm 5'8". I put the seat maybe 2.5" back from the full forward position, and I recline the seat a bit for better arm position (and more room for the airbag).

My wife is 5'3", and with the seat all the way forward, she can get the clutch to the floor no problem.

But you have to get the clutch to the floor to start the car.

Im 5'10 and i have the seat halfway back i dont think its just how tall someone is,its how long thier legs are you could have two people the same height and one have longer legs and the other guy be torso man.

Back on the subject i just bought a clean *** 74 Datsun truck that im putting a turbo on and the guy that drove it was a short feller. It has some decent looking pedel blocks made of metal ill snap a couple on pics of them and if you want them you can have them just pay the shipping im just gonna **** can them anyways

Im 5'8" and I have no problems with my putting my clutch in. I have the seat moved up some but its not a big deal. It feels good, its not like the steering wheel is up in my face. I also have my seat leaned a bit. What I would suggest it sitting in your car and adjusting your seat to where you are comfortable. Lean it however much you want and if you have power lower or raise it. Then move the seat up until you can put the clutch in all the way. Thats pretty much what I did and it feels great.

Thanks for all the replies. I've gotten pretty comfortable with it now. I didn't realize you didn't have to push the clutch in all the way to change gears. It's got a new centerforce clutch so It's pretty easy to get used too. I think I need some new pedal covers. Mine are almost down to the medal. Where can I get some OEM covers??

Man, I'm only 5'5", and I keep my seat one notch from all the way back. I never have a problem pushing the clutch all the way down. It's kind of a stretch to make the car start, but driving is no problem. Most of the cars I've had I've kept the seat all the way back. I sure can't see driving with it all the way up.

Yes, I do. In return, she lets me drive the GN. Plus, she's helping wear out the stock clutch so that I can upgrade.

Oh yeah, and the secks.
