first, wheni turn the wheel, it sounds like sticks are breaking, any idea what that could be?

also, my car doenst start right up, when its been sitting for an hr or more, i have to put the key from on and off a few times and then it will start, what is that the fuel pump? if i try to start it with out doing that, it wont fire up unless i try to start it a couple times, any ideas? thanks i appreciate the help

 

makes noise only when turning and moving forward? sitting still and turning the wheel?

second part, does it try to crank?, nothing happen at first? can you hear the fuel pump? does all the electrical work when it doesnt start?

So does it sound like it's trying to fire up or you just the the starter turning. Can you hear the fuel pump buzzing? So when you turn the key the first time...nothing and no starter juice? Check the starter wires.

 

The hard start sounds like your losing pressure when shut down. Could be bed reg or a leak some where. And maybe even pump going out.
