I'm a dummy: Urgent help involving '99 Headlight

Well, I proved tonight modding while rushed is never a good idea. I had plenty of time, so I decided to throw the halos I got in the mail today on. Well, after getting my *** kicked by my own stupidity a few times, I was running close to my work deadline. So I rushed.

Ultimately I got them on, but while I was adjusting them, I wasn't paying attention and SNAP! The plastic things on the back in the middle go flying. If God kills a kitten for every obsenity uttered, many, many kittens were killed tonight.

So I ask of you, almighty Cz28, I need your assistance. Would doublesided tape, or some type of foam be able to go inbetween this to form a replacement for those pins? When the hood is down the headlight doesn't move freely, even with it up it feels "snugly loose" but not dangerously. I guess I just need something to secure it abit better.

And yes, I'm a dumbass. Thanks in advance.

After thinking about it over work, I decided to try to take off the plastic part of the old headlight and swap it out.. it worked perfectly, so looks like I dodged the bullet.
