Hey Guys, I've been trying to figure out for a while why my interior lights don't work. Basically, all the dash lights, stereo and headlights work fine. But, when I open the door, or use the **** on the dash to turn on the interior lights, they don't come on. The reading lights won't come on either when I flip the switch on the rear view mirror. All fuses are fine and wiring harness and ground connections are intact. All other electrical accessories work properly.

Someone told me there was a relay under the driver or passenger side dash/footwell having to do with some sort of timer, but I don't know anything about this. Anyone have this problem or have any ideas?

 

This may seem dumb, but did you check the bulb?

 

It's all the lights. The driver and passenger reading lights in the rearview mirror, the driver and passenger under dash lights, the rear cargo light. The odd part, is the little red lights that illuminate the power window and lock switches in each door still work.

 

Moving to General Tech...


(Might want to check fuses, if you haven't already...)

I have the same problem with my Z, I have been told it is the BCM. I have a new one but haven't replaced it yet to see if that cures it.
