b4 i put the cutout on, my z28 seemed like it had some pretty good sound with the flowmaster, when i first put the cutout on i kept it uncapped for about a month and then capped it today, and i could barely here my car
, i could hear it pretty good before, do u think its just bc im used to the loud sound and i just thought it was louder then it really was, or is there something else it could be?? thanks

most likely the above...go drive a sedan around for a while, then get back into your car - you'll be happy with the sound then

You have just gotten used to the noise it makes when open that now anything else will be very quiet.
I actually uncapped mine on Sunday for the first time in a couple of months and after driving today to work and back (28 miles one way) I'm pretty much ready to cap it again and listen to the Flowmaster.
Don't get me wrong, I love the way it sounds, but it get very annoying in the long run, that's all. I need to finally get an electric plate for it...
