i have some qestions
i have a 95 alright im worndering can i put a lt1 rear in my v6 and drive shaft and still drive it? i hear to change the fuel pump you have to get the tank out you need to remove the rear is this true to?
also i keep hearing about a t-top converison kit. can you actually put t-tops in a hard top, if so how much does this cost? where do you get one. and is it safe or is this something that will destroy the car in the long run? im just curiouse ist not something i have to have. but if i was to do this i would take the car to a body shop and let them do this. im more curiouse about it then i really want it.

Yes, you can put a rear axle from a LT1 car in your V6 car. The driveshaft will also fit. There are 4 channel and 3 channel ABS systems, be sure you get a rearend with the correct ABS setup. This is actually a pretty common mod for V6 owners.
Yes, you can add T-tops to a hardtop car. No you will not destroy the car. All 4th gen hardtop cars have the understructure for the t-tops. The "T" is actually already there. All you do is remove the roof panel and cut the support member over the door window. After a little bodywork, you can install the weatherstripping and latch in the glass panels, just like factory.
There are several write-ups available on this with pictures and the works. I've heard it is not easy to find bodyshops willing to do it, so it might end up being a DIY project. There are lots of people that have done it.
