Are these only usable on one car(one VIN number)

or can I use it on both my 1999 Camaro and my friend's 1999 Camaro? Or are they locked to your VIN once you use it once?

EDIT: I found out that it logs the VIN number and you have to un-program the car to be able to use it on another car.

I guess they didnt want everyone sharing.

I guess you could do it at the track with both cars there at the same time but who cares since one guy is left without the tuning when you drive home....

 

It can be used on the same year car, but the program needs to be taken out of one car before you can puty it in another...hypertech wasnt stupid ....One Programmer One car at a time

 

Has anyone ever had a different program put on their HPPIII? I have heard of ppl doin it but i have never read about it.
