Does anyone know how much a hypertech PP3 for a 2001 LS1 goes for new? thanks

First of all you can only get one for the 2001, a hypertech for a 99 will not work on your. I think they flash vend numbers. But they will usualy go for around 250 on ebay to 350 brand new. The only problem on ebay is that they forget to flash the ven numbers back into the hypertech, so it is locked out for use on other cars. In other words once you use it you can't use it on other 2001 LS1's. Check out various sites like www.thunderracing.com

 

really? cause there's a guy who has one for 2001 and told me that it'll work with mine, even though his is used? should I believe that? thanks

If he unprogrammed his car, it will work fine. It can only be used on one car at a time.

 

What silver siad is correct, I just explained it wrong, Only one car can use it at a time.
