Question Hypertech Power ProgrammerIII Do I need it?

I am converting to t-56 and need my computer retuned for a manual trans. Should I sell my hypertech Power Programmer III or is the cable useful to keep? I wasn't sure if this device was useless (and the cable is) once you get a pcmforless tune for your car. What is the truth?

I would just sell it, use that money to purchase your mail-order tune.

They're basically pretty worthless before or after a tune. Once you get your computer sent out to be tuned, you'll have no need for a HPP3. I know I've got no need for mine.

ok so the cable is proprietary... I figured it was. It doesn't look like a normal serial cable.. If it was I would keep it just to screw with the software that you can get. I am a computer geek inside and it would be interesting to see the tune I have... Otherwise It is going to be in the selling section for cheap so it goes fast.
