Hvac ?

A friend of mine was wanting me to post up on here and ask if anyone knows much about the HVAC controls on a 95 Z28. His quit working. Don't know if it's the controls themselves or something else. He said he could get it to work on high, but high was the only one he could get to work on. I'm sorry that's all the details I have, but I can get more. Could it be a relay? Any help is much apprecitated. Thanks

John

Yes, that sounds just like his problem. Where is this blower resister?

Re: Hvac ?

Just the other day I tried to turn on the heat for the first time this season and mine didn't work at all. Turns out I forgot to replace a fuse that I took out to use for something else. Easier fix than his problem

Re: Hvac ?

The resister should be near the blower motor under the pass side dash. It should literealy be sticking into the air ducts. Be carefull if you have it on when removing it the coils can get very hot.
