HP gain

how much of a HP gain will i see with my new exhaust?it consists of...race hooker headers(3 inch)cat and magnaflow muflers all 3 inch.the system has no piping and ends just behind the front tires.i'm hopeing for good gains but am not sure.

so it's true duals?

over bone stock exhaust...headers and duals are probably worth about 20hp to the wheels...maybe 25

yes it's true duals.the stock system is gone,i burned it in a bonfire.

yeah...bout that...

sounds like someone has been reading manufacturer's advertised gains

"gain up to 30hp over a stock muffler with our new fancy flowmaster super-cross-glasspacked-hydroformed-peanutbutter coated muffler!!!"

key works "up to"....most likely you'll see 2-3hp....but 30 IS possible

LTs are good for about 15 to the wheels on average, and duals probably about 10hp.

with a blowtorch and gasoline and styrafome(yes i know i spelled it wrong)it melted good.
