How well do the spiral type bullet mufflers flow?
How well do the spiral type bullet mufflers flow?

Thanks

I heard the same. I was told they were just for sound. If you look at the design you can see why its restrictive compared to a straight bullet or any other straight through muffler.

Lane, the guy I bought my true duals from said he's seen dyno tests of Flo Pro Twisters and Bullets, and they were the same. The Twisters may flow slightly less then Bullets, but it's not enough to show up on a dyno, much less on the street. If anyone tells you the Twisters flow poorly, they're just speculating.

Also, depending on who makes them they can vary.
I went to a local exhaust shop to get mine and he showed me several different ones. Some had HUGE louvers(sp?) in them. The ones I got had a 3" inner core but very tiny fingers sticking out. So they are almost a straight though.
