When mine went out the clutch wouldn't pop back out. I'd push it to the floor to shift then it would just stay there, I had to use my foot to pull it back out.

After a WOT run down the road, i tried to downshift to slow up for a stop sign. It was as if I had no clutch, and the clutch pedal was not popping back out. Unlike Kataklysm, mine wouldnt pull back out. I immediately thought clutch, and swapped the clutch (which was damaged). Still problems. Changed the master cylinder, and worked great. The clutch problem had nothing to do with what happened, but it was a fairly oppertune time to swap dont ya think?

Another way to tell is, if you have to practically push it to the floor to get the clutch to actuate...my buddie's 95 TA did this, and he replaced the Master Cylinder and Slave Unit, and evertying is fine now...

The master isn't expensive so may as well give it a try if the clutch is acting up, why get in an accident if you can avoid it?
