How to take the door panel off!

I have a 1997 z28 and my driver side window motor has been acting up. When I have the window down and try to put it up it stops with 2 inches to go. Then if I give it sometime and try again it will go up a little bit. I then have to repeat the process until it is all the way closed. The window also moves a little front to back so I am not sure if it is just off the track? I know there are clips in the driver side door panel but how do I remove the door panel? Do I pull it towards me or pinch the sides in? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

I had that happen to my 97 a couple of years ago and swapped the motor out. Those hooks that hold the panel on have an L shaped tabs on the other side of the panel and go into slots in the door, basically after you remove all the screws I use both hands and on each side in the middle I push the panel towards the door and slide it up just a little then pull the panel out starting at the bottom, as you do this you can see those tabs on the other side and once they are out of their holes you can slide the panel the rest of the way off because it will still be attached at the top where the window is and don't forget to undo your switches as you do this.
