How to remove roof from 4th gen w/ t tops?

How to remove roof from 4th gen w/ t tops?
I need to replace the part of the roof behind the ttops and the rear hatch. Its basically just the black arch. I cant seem to find how it is attached to the car tho, if anyone knows please let me know. thanks

It's glued on with the same type of crap that holds windshields in.

I'm trying to paint that part of my '95--were you successful in removing it?

The outer shell is glued on, but the underlying metal is welded to the rest of the car.
