Never pulled it off, but for some reason I think there are two torx or phillips screws holding the black plastic shield around the inside, and maybe there are bolts for the hinge under that?

the gas tank door on these cars is a major PIA, you will need to drill the rivets and you can out in new rivots or srews, i just used screws.

I drilled out the rivets with a 1/2 drill bit-it came right out. I think putting it back in with screws will be the easiest.

Hi, Steve. I see your back on the board!!! Welcome back. Do you miss the convertible? If you are removing a gas door from an F-Body, you must have another one!!!!!!!!!
