How rare: No Power Locks, Windows, or Cruise Control?
How rare: No Power Locks, Windows, or Cruise Control?
I'm looking to get a stripper LS1 Camaro. At least as basic of a car that I can get. I found a 2000 Z28 in my neighborhood (Lakewood, Colorado) with about 50,000 miles. It does not have power anything, and that's what has drawn me to it. The more basic, the more happy I am.
They want $13K, but I'm thinking that's a bit much. What's the general concensus? Is it rare?

it's actually a MY2000, metallic teal(79U), LS-1 6-speed.

Re: How rare: No Power Locks, Windows, or Cruise Control?
I know a guy that had a Z28 (lady T-boned him and totaled it) that had NOTHING, no power locks, cruise, had cloth non-power seats, no rear defrost, no rear hatch release. Im sure there was more but i dont know the guy that well so ive never really asked him. from what i hear if you get one like that its pretty rare
Try to find out if it's an 1LE if it is thats a pretty rare car in that year as well as any other year! You can find out thur the rpo codes and maybe vin # but RPO codes for sure
Then I would say the asking price is still kind of high even if it is a 1LE i'd say between 10,500-12,500, but then again that's just my 2 cents
