how to: ignition cylinder install

Hey all,

I need advice for changing out the ignition cylinder. Does anyone have a how to?

I am really hoping that it is not too involved.

I am going to check out my Chiltons manual when I get home.

If anyone has any good advice before I attempt this, that would be cool.

its fairly involved I havent done it one of these new ones with Airbags... But I do know you have to disable the Airbag then pull that off. Pull the steering wheel, Pull the Lock Plate, remove/move some stuff around till you can get to the Torx bit for that. I'm not sure what the deal with the Vats wire is but I would like to know as well

Autozone rents the lock plate compressor and wheel puller for about $15 deposit each. So $30 bucks but ya get it all back tools wise
