top heater hose is stuck on real good, any ideas how to get it off?

 

You may have to cut it and replace with a new hose.

 

Twist and pull.

 

usually some channel locks around where the hose connects to the pipe works for me. Use some muscle wussy!

 

i can bench 340 pounds, i dont think muscle is an oblject lol

 

Squeeze a small screwdriver or pick between the hose and the radiator neck and run the screwdriver/pick around the inside of the hose. should come off easy after that.

 

If you can get a screwdriver up in there, thats probably the easiest way. If all else fails, cut it with a utility knife parrallell to the hose from the end of it to about 2 inches back, peal it off and replace it.

 

I did the screwdriver when I had to replace waterpump on my thirdgen.. Works very well. Pry it a bit to loosen it up

I usually put a small screw driver under the edge and spray a little water or WD40 or something in there to help break the seal. Then just wiggle the screw driver and twist the hose.
