Converter- about a 3k stall
Ditch the hypertech and get a good dyno tune
Sticky tires

If that comes up short spray. You could probably get there on spray alone and not change the way your car drives on the street at all. I'd still reccomend a set of sticky tires and a dyno tune though.

Agreed, a converter and drag radials should definitely get you there.

I have a similar set-up plus an exhaust cut-out, Madz28 chip, and an underdriven crank pulley. I went 13.5 @ 105. You should be trapping 105 or more with those parts too. Then add some traction and you should be pretty damn close.

Do a cutout and a nice stall converter you'll never look back.

Stall, yes. But a cutout might actually hurt without ported heads and a bigger camshaft.

for stock rims - your pretty much limited to nitto drag radials.
Also - for a stall converter - vigilante or yank seem to be the most popular
The stock rear will handle it, but nobody knows how long. Look at a rear end girdle, and you'll be good to go. My friends launching a LS1 with heads/cam and a 3600 stall on 315 DRs, and no problems yet. Auto cars are a lot easier on rears than a M6

MT 26-11.5-16 ET streets will fit on stock salad shooters and the car ( at least it does on mine). However, I would not even try to drive with them every day.

I think tires and more practice at the strip will make a big difference (but that alone won't get you into the 12s, of course). I have fewer mods on my car than yours, and I've run a 13.68 (with a lower trap speed). That was with a completely stock (original) exhaust. I leave my Nitto DRs on the car from April thru November with no problems.

What is your 60-foot time like?
