Here is a lower cost, but effective way.
Hotcam Kit
2800-3000rpm Converter
Tires, Tires, Tires. Depending on your current 60' time, tires might take you to 12's quicker than the other two.
Then there are the extras, E-WP, Dyno Tune, Weight Savings, Suspension, ASP Underdrives, etc.

finally got into de 12 second barrier! did 12.84 on the quarter with:
Pace setter long tubes
costum y pipe and flow master mufler
hypertech power programer cam and sc tunning
3:73 gears
gm hiperformance lt4 hotcam
scorpion 1:6 ratio rockers
MT dot drag radials
love the grip on those tyres, and a 13.5 with dunlops radials on an a4 lt camaro z28
