how do you test a relay?

how do you test a relay?

i want to check my relay to see if its the problem ....how do i do that?

I forget off the top of my head.
But the easiest way to check them is to swap them out with something that you know works on the car.
Like on my 97 I just put the relay on my fog light and see if it would work that way.

I forget the #s on it, but you energize the coil, you should have continuity from the large power lug to the... destination ?!? lug...

If you need the numbers, I can get them here in a bit...

But purgatory's got it right- swap it!
