Re: how do you flush a heater core?

Remove both heater hoses at the water pump. Use a garden hose to flush into one of the hoses, then reverse and flush into the other hose. Keep water off the optispark.

Re: how do you flush a heater core?

At auto parts stores / discount stores you can get a flush kit that has a connector for a garden hose, and it has a valve that prevents coolant from flowing back into the hose.

another thing you can do to get all of the antifreeze/water out of the heater core for a complete flush is use some compressed air to blow the remaining water and antifreeze out of the heater core, but be careful you dont want to force too much pressure into the heater core its only built to handle the stock 16 psi of pressure on the stock cooling system i wouldn't want to find out how much more it could take

That just keeps all the junk that was in there in the first place in cycle. If you want you can try and follow my little guide here. Let me know how helpful it was cause no one ever tells me. I will also get those pictures on it that it says are there.
