how to change out the ignition lock cylinder???

how to change out the ignition lock cylinder???

need help asap. i need to swap out the ignition lock cylinder, car is stuck in a walmart parking lot. can someone post directions please. the ignition turns but only if i wiggle it violently, otherwise it is stuck. it aslo has some play in it that it slides in and out of the housing.

pull off air bag, pull off steering wheel, pull clockspring, pull turn signal switch, unplug VATS wire under dash, snake wire up through column, remove retaining pin/screw, slide cylnder out,

reverse for install

Now that's one hell of a quick explanation. I wish I could sum things up perfectly like that. And only 8 min after he posted. I am surely impressed. Sorry I don't have any more help to add, that was obviously enough.

well $350 later, it wasnt the lock cylinder but a $30 ignition switch that sits above the steering column. oh well live and learn
