How can I tell what rear gears my WS6 has?

Probably a dumb question for most of you guys. But is there any way I can tell what rear gears I have from the factory? Besides lifting the car and spinning the wheels? I'm talking about the 99 WS6.
Thanks in advance

Look on the door sticker for an RPO code that begins with GU.

GU2 : AXLE REAR, 2.73 RATIO

GU4 : AXLE REAR, 3.08 RATIO (V6)

GU5 : AXLE REAR, 3.23 RATIO

GU6 : AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO

With that many posts, you'd think you would have come across your answer 3500 ago.

If its a m6 3.42, if its an auto, if you can manually put it in d1 it has 3.23, if you can only put in d2, it has 2.73's, easy way of telling also.

I don't think LS1s had that restriction, did they?

No I don't think so either
Also if you have an Auto equipped WS6 the mandatory gear is 3.23

If you would construct a "signature" with useful info in it, and had included the fact it is an M6, the question would have been answered with minimal effort by the first person to respond.
