Hit from behind while parked...affects steering?
Someone hit my TA from behind while it was parked up against a curb on the street last night. It didn't look like there was any paint damage, but the alignment is all messed up. The wheels were toed way out.
Anyone have any idea how this could have happened? What might be damaged?

if the wheel that was on the curb was pushed into the curb when there was impact it can mess up the alignment.. I had a guy back into me.. not a scratch on the car, but it bent one of my wheels about 1.5 degrees out... does not seem alot.. but it was enough that when I drove the car it would spin the steering wheel 180 degrees before it would be going strait.. and the wheels, with the steering wheel 180 degrees, pointed out away from each other. Again.. there was not even a scratch on the car
Yeah I didn't see any damage until I looked closer. I thought they rear-ended me, but it looks like they backed into my front fender and pushed the wheel against the curb like you said. Toe is off by a bit, and the wheel is definitely off-center. Sadly, it looks like there might be some damage beneath the fender as well
