high 11s possible stock LS1?
high 11s possible stock LS1?
with just full bolt ons and good tires can high 11s be done? Reason is i am buying a LS1 fbody and want to know how fast i can get it to go before i start touching the motor.
i agree with low 12's but i dont think bolt ons (unless you count n20 like nightmare said) will get you to the 11's.
im at the other end of the spectrum where i have very few bolt ons and h/c, and have a hard time staying in the 11's. average is 12.0x. so it may be possible if power is traded off for the correct bolt ons.

With bolt ons and serious weight reduction it could be done. I think it would depend on a couple of things that are really out of your control though, ie, having a car that's on the faster end of the spectrum in stock trim and great weather and track prep.
I think it would be more easily done in an auto as well. It would take one hell of a driver mod to get you into the 11s. With the auto slap a higher stall in it and hope everything holds together. It's going to take a perfect launch with a good 60ft time to do it.

Pretty simple, the same way it sits today. Front, Hal shocks & springs, no front sway bar. Rear, BMR non adjustable poly/rubber LCA's, BMR non adjustable PHB. Stock shocks, springs, torque arm, and sway bar. BMR sfc's and a bolt in 6 point cage. Best times were ran on 275/50/15 M/T drag radials.
