OK guys I have been considering covering the entire inside of my trans am with some dynamat or some other brand name off e-bay style sound deadener. I was wondering if this would really help with some of the noises and squeks this car makes? Also would it help quiet out my 3-inch exhaust and improve the quality sound of my stereo? Just don't want to spend the money on something thats not really worth it.

 

It will help block out alot of the road noise you get from your tires. Of course, with that noise blocked out from the one side of the dynamat, the noise (stereo) on the other side of the dynamat should not contend with it and thus sound better. I don't think it will deaden the sound of the stereo. If you got the time and money, go for it. Some will come on here and start telling you about the extra weight you're fixing to add on. There's pros and cons.
