HELP!!!
My 99 SS has recently developed a leak of what appears to be water? inside my car...It seems to be coming from the AC unit and creates a large puddle on the floorboard of my passenger side and leaks slightly on the driver's side. Has anyone heard of this happening?? Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this or what I can do about it? Any hints you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Welcome to board.

I haven't heard of that happening on a Camaro but my dads Grand Prix has that same exact problem. It did turn out to be something with the AC. Sorry I don't know exactly what they fixed, it turned into a huge hassle he took it in four times each time the dealership claiming it was finally fixed.

I didn't take time to go through those threads listed above but I saw many cars with this problem at the garage I used to work at during college. On the firewall there is usually a little pair of rubber "lips" that are supposed to drip off the condesation from your AC. They often get plugged and the water backs up into the car. All we ever had to do was give them a good squeeze and they drained right out. They are tough to reach sometimes. Good luck. -Ryan
