OK, i am in the proccess of installing a Motorvation Underdrive pully. It is a crank pully. I got the belt off and the stock pully off. (or is it called the harmonic balancer?) now i am about to install it. DO i just put the UD pully on, and then the bolts and belts and i am done? or do i put the stock crank pully on with it? and if i do what order does it go on? do i have to line anything up as far as markings? i have a 95 Z28 A4. thanks

P.S i know it is a dumb question, but i am not sure if you do or not, i heard people saying you need to put the harmonic balancer back on, and i don't know what that is. is it the stock pully i took off the crank? i am right in the middle of the instalation..... thanks a bunch -ZAck

 

The LT1 crank pulley and damper are one. You need it on there to protect your crank.

 

Yup, put it back on in the same position it came off after first putting the underdrive pulley on,thats why the bolts are longer, at least the bolts that came with mine were longer

 

Just out of curiosity...did your pulley kit not come with instructions?

 

they came with directs, but it didn't exactly say but the crank pully back on, thats why i was a little confused. SO really all i do is put the underdrive pully on, then the old crank pully i took off? and then i put the belt onto the underdrive pully? is this right
