Help please my car will not start

I am having a no start issue with my car. When I turn the ignition the instrument panel doesnt light up. When its just sitting at on the panel doesnt light up either. But the headlights, blower, inside lights and radio all come on and work. I checked the ground and positive cable at the battery and both are tight. I checked the ground to the block and it is tight as well. I used jumper cables and connected up to my vans battery and still had same results. I even used the jumper cables and grounded the battery to the alternator bracket while the positive lead was on the vans battery and had the same results. No lights at all or gauges working on the panel at any time. Ive checked a lot of the fuses and none seem to be blown either. I need to get my car running and being it wont start cant even take it anywhere to get looked at. Any help from the vast experience here would be appreciated.

Also, the pellet in the ignition has been bypassed.

Does the starter turn? Also, when you turn the ignition key does the lights dim or go dark? If it goes dark your battery is shot. VATS will be a bit harder to disable unless you have LT1Edit or TunerCat.

Its not the battery. Seems like from some reading there is a possibility that its the ignition switch. I read that the gauges and all die if it goes bad. Now just have to find somoene to replace it.

Remote possibility, but actually take the battery terminal wires off and check for heavy corrosion, or corroded wire strands.

If it turns out to be the ignition switch, Shoebox has a replacement procedure:

Re: Help please my car will not start

It was the ignition switch. Now she starts perfectly fine. Now there are new issues though.

When I got it home tonight water was dripping on the ground. It was too dark to see where it was coming from but was dripping around the bottom left of the radiator as you look at it. The water was only luke warm compared to the hoses and such themselves that were really hot. Any suggestions?

Second, the PCV hose came off twice. I know the boot is a bit loose but it has always been that way. Any reason why it would come off as in forced?

You might look at the hose on the upper left of the radiator.

Re: Help please my car will not start

Ill look at that tomorrow when there is more light. I did squeeze some of the hoses and they were all hot and still had pressure. Im wondering if the cap is bad and releasing pressure when it shouldnt be. That would cause the water to get hotter than it really should and leak right?
