Help needed badly!!!!!

I need some serious help. My car went dead because of a dead battery so i had the alternator tested. That showed the Alt was dead and i installed a new one. Then I got a new battery and thought i was done. Now 2 alts later nothing is charging. Could it be the trigger wire? and if so where does the trigger wire go to? I am at my wits end. Please help....

Rebuilt Alternators or new? Also check all the bat./alt. cables for corrorsion, internally as well as at the ends/connectors. Check all the grounds, and make sure the Bat. is fully charged before starting on a new alt.

Are you checking voltage at the battery or looking just at the gauge inside the vehicle???
