Help me choose my next tires!
Help me choose my next tires!
Ok, here is the deal. Right now the Nitto DRs are toast. I dont have a lot of money and I've now done a bit of suspension upgrades...so Im just gonna go with a normal street tire this time around. I have ET streets for track use. Anyhow...Im just replacing the back two...and I want something around $100 that is my best bang for my buck. Decent performance for the price. What do you think?

I've got 2 Pirellis on my car so far...
Will be ordering 2 more soon.
I haven't had any issues with them, they work just fine.
According to Tire Rack's rating system (the 1-10 for each category), the Pirellis destroy the competition- a mud and snow tire that has more dry traction than all but a few dedicated summer tires.
However, if you're looking for a summer tire, the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s will probably win in that category.

I have Kumho Ecsta Stanza's on my car right now. So far great great tread wear and life. They've been on my car for about 2 yrs and still going strong. Also have excellent traction. Although since my mods have steadily increased traction has suffered, it's still pretty good. On top of all they are awesome in the rain. I never have worried a second about doing 70mph down the E-way in a rainstorm. My vote would be for Kumho, although I'm biased. I have tried a few of the other brands you have listed and still feel this way though.
