HELP!! key is stuck in LOCK position=/

Unhappy HELP!! key is stuck in LOCK position=/

okay so my 1994 camaro z28 key is stuck in the lock position, i know that when u turn the wheel when the keys out of the ignition the wheel locks and you can't start the car unless you put the key back in the igniton and turn the wheel. i tried that and the key just wont come out of the lock posiion, i tried stepping on the brake too while doing this and nothing, does anyone know what i can doooo!???????

IS the key stuck in the cylinder??? Or the cylinder will not turn???

the cylinder will not turn, i can take the key in and out tho

Have you tried tilting the wheel up and down while trying to turn the key???

If that doesnt work, then probably the there is a problem with the rack/selector gear assembly and/or the ignition cylinder.....

See if your car is all the way in park. Sometimes car will lock the key if its not in park.
