HELP!!! 93 Trans Am Headlights

I just bought a 93 Trans AM and the person who had the car before had somehow pinned up the lights so they would work at night(motors are out). So i ordered new motors but it seems there are some parts missing from this assembly, i was trying to figure out exactly how they move but am stumped. does anyone know of some good pictures or write up s of how these are supposed to be?

Were the motors bad, or were the gears worn out?

At the bottom of the page, there are photos, and a "quick fix" (rotating the gear 180-degrees with the ****) that worked for me.

Thanks for the link! I'm not quite sure, when i got the car the head light were both pinned up and unplugged from the harnesses. i plugged them in and they dont even make any noise whatsoever when you flip the head light switch. i checked the fuses and they seem well, so i ordered new head light motors.

Wow, that site is very cool. now that i see what they are supposed to look like, i can go from there. it appears to me that the underside of my lights are ver broken, the previous owner tried to permanetly stick these lights up and he broke alot of things in the procces.
